The Free Community of Pasargada (Portuguese: Comunidade Livre de Pasárgada) is a micronation founded on 7 April 2001 by Brazilians Bruno Cava, Igor Ravasco, José Luiz Borrás, Leonardo Carrion, Luciana Andrade, Rafael Figueira, Sérgio Schüller and Vítor de Bourg.
Its activities are conducted along the lines of an online nation-state simulation. However, the members of Pasargada do not adopt the pseudonymous identities and behaviours typical of the participants in many virtual micronations. As such Pasargada can be described as a sophisticated exercise in social networking thematically based around a constructed national identity.
In addition to maintaining ongoing online interactions, Passargada has conducted an annual face-to-face social gathering for its members since 2001. This event takes place in Brazil, and has typically attracted approximately a dozen attendees.
The name "Pasargada" is taken from the title of Vou-me embora para Pasárgada (Gone to Pasargada), a poem by Brazilian writer Manuel Bandeira (1886–1968).
