List of Micronations (website)

The List of Micronations website is a portal created, maintained and owned by George Cruickshank.
It was launched on 15 March 2009 as the permanent home of the eponymous, authoritative, expanded List of Micronations created by Cruickshank during 2008, and initially hosted at the Micronations.eu portal.
The site has subsequently been expanded to include a list of key external links and resources, a recommended reading list, an online discussion forum and a wiki-based encyclopedia.
List of Micronations describes its purpose as being to "serve as a portal to the world of micronations, document the micronation phenomenon in as objective, accurate, comprehensive and accessible a manner as possible, and to facilitate communication between micronationalists and those interested in micronations."
The site uses the tagline "micronation central", and the abbreviations "LOM dot com" and "LOM". Its motto - "it's a small world" - appears on the several variations of the site's logo that are current as at February 2010.
