The Principality of Little Scotland was an Australian micronation created in the 1970s by Lindsay (Fergus) Munro and his wife Lillian.[1]

It was located on a 0.22 km2 rural acreage at 5 Battys Road, Kangaroo Valley,[2] in the Illawarra region of New South Wales. The property was later owned by prominent Sydney bookseller Lesley Mackay.[3] When Mackay sold the property, the buyer changed its name to Kangaroo Hideaway.[4] The former Principality of Little Scotland was again listed for sale in July 2006.[5]
