Principality of Little Scotland

The Principality of Little Scotland was an Australian micronation created in the 1970s by Lindsay (Fergus) Munro and his wife Lillian.^[1]

It was located on a 0.22 km² rural acreage at 5 Battys Road, Kangaroo Valley,^[2] in the Illawarra region of New South Wales. The property was later owned by prominent Sydney bookseller Lesley Mackay.^[3] When Mackay sold the property, the buyer changed its name to Kangaroo Hideaway.^[4] The former Principality of Little Scotland was again listed for sale in July 2006.^[5]
